James DeMarco, a Daytime Emmy Winning Makeup Artist and skin care expert has been beautifying Hollywood’s leading ladies and men for seventeen years. James began his career both in front of and behind the camera in Philadelphia, his hometown. He appeared in the hit films UP CLOSE and PERSONAL, SNAKE EYES AND FALLEN. Both the Philadelphia Chapters of BROADCAST PIONEERS AND ADVERTISING CLUB awarded him simultaneous scholarships for his academic achievements and pioneering on air journalistic work while in college.

After graduating LaSalle University, Jim headed to the Big Apple and was accepted into the prestigious NBC PAGE PROGRAM. This opportunity allowed him to work on then hit shows SNL, ROSIE O’DONNELL and CONAN O’BRIEN. He later jumped to a position in Network operations working on the broadcast transmission side of TV. However, James had an undiscovered passion, namely beauty, for which he then left his TV dreams behind and began his new journey.

A journey that first led him to primping skin as an esthetician with world renowned stylist, FREDERIK FEKKAI while honing his makeup skills. During his work in various spas and dermatologists, James joined the National Makeup Artist team of NARS COSMETICS witch both solidified his makeup technique and opened the doors for him to the fashion world. Throughout this period he painted faces for mostly every major designer on the New York runways; MARC JACOBS, FURSTENBERG, KORS, DIOR to name a few, with his work also appearing in publications like VOGUE, ALLURE, LUCKY, MARIE CLAIRE, and ELLE and in ad campaigns for NARS, BANANA REPUBLIC, GAP, MARC JACOBS and VICTORIA’S SECRET.

But James got the showbiz bug back and decided to combine his passion for makeup with that of TV. From award shows like THE GOLDEN GLOBES to the EMMYS, his TV credits include PROJECT RUNWAY, TOP CHEF, DICK CLARKS ROCKIN EVE, LAW AND ORDER, 30 ROCK, GOOD MORNING AMERICA, TODAY SHOW, AMERICA’S GOT TALENT, CELEBRITY APPRENTICE, THE GOODWIFE, THE BLACKLIST and the daytime drama, ONE LIFE TO LIVE where he served as one of the Key Artist for four years and is a Daytime Emmy three time nominee and winner. His film credits include MEN IN BLACK 3, THE SECRET LIFE OF WALTER MITTY, ADMISSION, ST. VINCENT, THE ADERRALL DIARIES and the upcoming GREATEST SHOWMAN.

James has had the privilege to work on many of the big and small screens finest, world renowned Supermodels and TV personalities.
